How to list an NFT for auction?
Initial requirements to create an auction:
Possession of a crypto-wallet that supports the storage and sending of NFT tokens. The wallet will enable interaction with auction contracts on the platform.
Ownership of an NFT in the wallet, acquired from any marketplace or created on an external platform that supports the creation and issuance of NFTs.
Currently, creating NFTs on the GreedyArt platform is not available.
GreedyArt platform supports ERC721 and ERC1155 standard tokens on the BNB chain, provided they have metadata consistent with the standards. The NFT's compliance with the platform's requirements is checked during auction creation.
How to create an auction:
Step 1 - Connect your wallet
Connect the wallet from which the auction was created to the site by pressing the Connect Wallet button.
Step 2 - Go to the auction creation page
Click the Create button at the top of the site and wait for the page to load.
Step 3 - Select the NFT token
On the opened page, all NFTs in your wallet will be displayed. Select the desired NFT token and click on it to proceed.
Step 4. Specify the desired "Initial Reward" amount and the minimum bid amount
"Initial Reward" determines the position of your auction in the site's listing. The higher the "Initial Reward" amount, the closer to the top your auction is in the waiting list.
The minimum bid amount is the amount of the first bid that can activate the auction.
For ERC1155 standard tokens, an additional field displaying the number of tokens for sale will appear; specify the quantity you wish to list in the auction.
Step 5 - Allow NFT access via Approve
Click the Approve button and confirm the action in your wallet. By doing this, you are permitting the auction's smart contract to interact with your NFT token.
Step 6 - Complete the auction creation
After the confirmation is complete, the Create Auction button will become active. Press Create Auction and confirm the action in your wallet.
After confirmation, the NFT along with the specified "Initial Reward" amount will be sent to the GreedyArt auction contract.
Immediately after the auction is created, 10% of the "Initial Reward" amount is transferred to the GreedyArt project wallet as a fee for listing the auction. The auction winner will receive the remaining 90% of this amount.
